This grant will benefit its department of six special education teachers and appoximately 100 students. Many of these students are in a regular classroom and need specific adaptations to the curriculum to help them achieve success. The availability of a scanner in our own classrooms will allow us to maintain student confidentiality, modify lessons and tests. The educational goals of our students can be met in a more productive and timely fashion. The scanners will provide a long-lasting benefit for special education students and teachers in the current year and for years to come!
