Carroll Education Foundation's Grant Recipients and Sponsors 2010

Dragon Syn“Energy” provides continued support for the robotic engineering endeavors at Durham Elementary School. Students will use collaborative skills while problem solving and asking questions through this inquiry-based program. Third grade GT students and students in the 4th grade science lab bring synergy together while learning about simple machines, forces, and renewable energy with 36 LEGO Simple and Motorized Mechanism Sets. The curriculum comes with a CD and educational resources to plan lessons that foster the STEM concepts of science, technology, engineering, and math.
