Welcome to the Carroll Education Foundation! CEF has a solid reputation built over time and hard work but most of all with dedication to the Southlake CISD community. As we prepare for another successful year, CEF hopes to involve the community in a big way. Parents and sponsors alike will be able to participate in the work of the foundation on a monthly basis as we prepare for our annual fundraiser - Culinary Celebration 2008.

Since 1996, CEF has provided additional funding to enrich the Excellence in Education at Carroll Independent School District (CISD) and continues to be a major contributor towards enhanced programming. CEF enhances programming by providing the innovative tools in education and generating funding to support it where the overall operating budget at CISD cannot. We encourage the entire community to get involved in the process and assist us in continuing Excellence in Education so that together we can provide the necessary tools needed for Carroll students to be able to compete in a technically advanced society. To date, CEF has funded more than 200 teacher grants at approximately $500,000.

This year marks one of the highest contributions towards higher learning with over $98,000 granted towards programs at CISD. This contribution to CISD is largely attributed to the outstanding CEF Culinary Celebration held at the Hyatt Regency DFW this past October, which raised over $250,000 and drew close to 1,000 attendees. The plans for this year's Culinary Celebration are already in the works and slated for October 12, 2008. We hope that you will join CEF by attending this exceptional event with friends, neighbors and co-workers. If you would like to get involved with the event, volunteer opportunities are available to serve on our Culinary Celebration committee and sponsorships are available.
